SEND Arcade Releases 456 Squad Game Season 2 Entry Passes for Minting on Magic Eden

NFT project SEND Arcade has announced the release of 456 Squad Game Season 2 entry passes, available for minting on Magic Eden. The minting process will begin on December 30th.

The minting will occur in two phases. The first phase, the Whitelist (WL) phase, will be reserved for wallets that held more than 50,000 SEND at the time of the initial mint announcement. Whitelisted wallets will be able to mint up to 2 passes during this phase, which will last 3 hours, starting at 1:11 PM UTC.

The second phase will be public and open to everyone, starting at 4:20 PM UTC. According to Send Arcade, all wallets will be eligible to participate in this phase.

The team has emphasized that the pass serves only as an entry ticket for the Squad Game and has no additional utility. They advise users to mint only if they intend to play the game or gift the pass to a friend.

“This pass can only be used for Squad Game as an entry pass. No other utility. Only mint, if you wanna play this game or gift it to your friends – the total supply is just 456 and it’ll be damn fun!”Squad Game is an on-chain game inspired by the Netflix series Squid Game, developed by Send Arcade. Magic Eden describes it as an interactive survival game where players compete with 455 others over three weeks for a substantial prize. As players are eliminated, the prize pool grows larger.

Players will keep getting eliminated and the prize pool keeps increasing.”The first season of Squad Game followed a similar pattern to the Squid Game series. In the first round, players chose one of four symbols: a circle, a triangle, a star, or an umbrella. The symbol selected by the fewest players became the “Death Symbol”, and those who chose it were eliminated.

The next round “Red Light, Red Light” involved players holding an “Elimination NFT”. They needed to pass this NFT within their squad to avoid elimination. If the NFT was passed outside the squad or sent to a forbidden address, the player was disqualified. The player holding the NFT when the game ended was also eliminated.

In Round 3, Triple Cross, players minted two NFTs (real and fake), exchanged them with squadmates, and submitted one for evaluation. Betrayal or lying led to elimination. The “Penalty Round” allowed players to bribe from the prize pool to eliminate opponents, with the highest bribe winning. If no bribes were placed, all players advanced. The game concluded with a classic Rock, Paper, Scissors match in the “Final Round”, determining the winner through semi-finals and finals.

It remains uncertain whether Squad Game Season 2 will follow the same structure as Season 1 or introduce new games mixed with the previous ones.
