XX Uema Sports Tournament starts this Friday (12)

The event aims to strengthen Uema's sporting representation at the local and regional level, encouraging sports at the university.

A XX edição do Torneio Esportivo da Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (Uema) começa nesta sexta-feira (12). O evento, promovido pela Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Assuntos Estudantis (Proexae), por meio da Coordenação de Cultura e Desporto, visa fortalecer a representação esportiva da instituição no âmbito local e regional, além de incentivar a prática esportiva na universidade.

The 20th edition of the Sports Tournament at the State University of Maranhão (Uema) starts this Friday (12). The event, promoted by the Dean of Extension and Student Affairs (Proexae), through the Culture and Sports Coordination, aims to strengthen the institution's sporting representation at the local and regional level, in addition to encouraging sports at the university.

Nesta edição de 2024, o torneio contará com nove modalidades individuais: Atletismo, Badminton, Basquete X1, Jiu-Jitsu, Judô, Karatê, Natação, Tênis de Mesa e Xadrez.

In this 2024 edition, the tournament will feature nine individual disciplines: Athletics, Badminton, X1 Basketball, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Karate, Swimming, Table Tennis and Chess.

14 de julho (domingo) – Atletismo | Natação | Basquete x1 | Tênis de mesa

July 14 (Sunday) – Athletics | Swimming | Basketball x1 | Table tennis

Os horários e locais serão definidos de acordo com o número de inscritos apresentados no Congresso Técnico a ser realizado na tarde de amanhã (12). Posteriormente, o segundo Boletim Informativo será publicado no Instagram da Proexae, contendo todos os detalhes sobre horários e locais de competição.
