Tyreek Hill is taking his speed to the crypto world. The Miami Dolphins star wideout teased a potential meme coin, '$CHEETAH,' after Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy's wild ride with his own token, '$GREED.'

Portnoy, known for stirring the pot, launched '$GREED' as a supposed “social experiment” (or just another case of meme coin chaos). He first hyped it up, secured 35.79% of the total supply (per Lookonchain), and watched the market cap hit $30 million. Then, he dumped his entire stash within an hour — sending '$GREED' plummeting by 99%.

Tyreek Hill is bringing his renowned speed to the crypto realm, hinting at a potential meme coin, '$CHEETAH,' inspired by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy's wild ride with his own token, '$GREED.'

Known for his penchant for stirring the pot, Portnoy embarked on what he termed a "social experiment," or rather, another installment of meme coin chaos, with '$GREED.' He hyped it up, securing 35.79% of the total supply, which is now being observed by blockchain analytics service Lookonchain, and witnessed the market cap reach $30 million.

Subsequently, he sold his entire stash of the token within an hour, leading to a 99% plummet in '$GREED.'

Taking notice, Hill shared a post on X, which has since been deleted, expressing his interest, to which another user responded: "Come on bro. You could drop a $CHEETAH token and it would be huge."

To this, the Miami Dolphins star replied, "I might have to."

Moments later, in a now-deleted post, Hill shared a photo of himself holding a copy of "The Complete Poems Of Walt Whitman" in his Miami Beach, Florida home, with the caption: "Reading Whitman in Miami... what’s everyone else reading this spring?"

One user then commented, "Thinking about starting a $GREEKY token just to spite Dave and annoy Sam. Would be a great way to spend my spring."

Tagging both Portnoy and Sam Cooper, a co-host of the Barstool podcast "Monday Morning Quarterback with Sam Cooper and Dave Portnoy," Hill replied, "Now u talkin."

Cooper responded, urging him to "do it," while Portnoy added, "I’m in on a small one."

If Tyreek Hill does follow through with his own crypto token, it will enter the already chaotic meme coin scene in 2024.
