Toronto Coin Expo returns to Toronto Reference Library
The Toronto Coin Expo, Canada’s premier coin and banknote show, will return on October 4-5 at the Toronto Reference Library in downtown Toronto.
Now in its 10th year, the show will feature over 30 nationally recognized coin and banknote dealers, offering a wide range of Canadian and world coins, banknotes, tokens, medals, and other numismatic collectibles.
The two-day show, owned by prominent numismatic dealer Jared Stapleton, will feature dealers and experts providing free appraisals and valuable insights on collections, making it ideal for both seasoned collectors and newcomers.
A highlight of the show will be the seminar “Mastering the Miniature: Exploring the Techniques of Coin Photography” on Saturday at 1 p.m., presented by professional photographer Denis Richard of Coin Photography Studio. The session will offer practical tips for both experienced and novice photographers aiming to improve their coin photography skills.
The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association’s Youth Table will also be present, featuring the popular Youth Workshop and Auction on Saturday, giving young collectors a chance to engage with numismatics.
Geoffrey Bell Auctions will also host the Expo’s auction on October 4, showcasing rare medals, coins, and banknotes, offering a prime opportunity for collectors to acquire unique pieces. (See auction stories in this issue of CCN.)
The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission is $6 for adults, while children 16 and under can attend for free.
