Eli Hershkovich and Establish the Run's Evan Silva shared some of their favorite Super Bowl picks on The Lines' podcast this week. Since it's hard to find value in traditional betting markets like the point spread and total, especially for the Super Bowl, the experts are zeroing in on player props.

Saquon Barkley Super Bowl MVP odds (+240)

Rather than a moneyline bet on the Eagles, our experts suggest considering a play on Philly RB Saquon Barkley to win MVP at +240 or better. Barkley runs behind the best defensive line in football and has a favorable matchup on Sunday.

"If the Eagles win, it is likely to come on the back of Saquon Barkley," says Silva. He goes on to say that "Advanced analytics show that the Chiefs run defense really took a dive in the second half of the season and has been vulnerable."

Super Bowl 59 prop bets: Jalen Hurts anytime TD scorer (-110)

At The Lines, Hershkovich writes Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is undervalued at -110 odds to score a touchdown.

Eli's take: "With two weeks to rest up, I don’t expect Hurts’ mobility to be as big of an issue after suffering a knee injury in the divisional round. Besides, he is already a threat to score via the “tush push,” delivering three touchdowns inside the Commanders’ 10-yard line during the NFC championship game. In Super Bowl 57, he also accrued three rushing scores."

Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl prop: Longest completion Over 35.5 yards (-110)

It takes just one big play from the three-time Super Bowl MVP to win this bet.

"Mahomes has most of his weapons back for the Super Bowl, and the Chiefs have quite a few big-play threats," writes prop betting specialist Caleb Tallman. "Travis Kelce scored on a 49-yard reception in KC's divisional round win over the Texans, and receivers Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy have the speed to take it to the house any time."

Taylor Swift Super Bowl prop bets offered at sportsbooks

The coin toss, to the surprise of some, remains one of the more popular ways to bet in the Super Bowl. In fact, there are at least three different ways to bet it at DraftKings.

With the first two options listed above, DraftKings is offering even-money odds (+100), meaning there is no house advantage built into the price. At +100, you have an implied 50% chance of winning the bet. A $100 bet will return a total payout of $200 on a winning wager that includes your original stake back.
