The Super Bowl LIX coin toss odds have been revealed and you might be thinking, wait, isn't this a 50-50 shot?

Super Bowl LIX Coin Toss Odds Revealed; Tails Has Won 6 of Last 10 Times

The Super Bowl coin toss is one of the most bet props in the big game, and the odds for Super Bowl LIX have been revealed.

While you might be thinking, “Isn’t this a 50-50 shot?” Well, yes, it is in theory. There are only two sides to a coin, after all. But the folks at Odds Shark had an interesting breakdown of the coin toss, one of the most bet props in the Super Bowl.

So, the odds are equal for heads and tails (duh), but the trends have been interesting. The odds sit at -104, or -105 and even -102, depending upon which book you use. But the coin toss does have a favorite, so to speak, based on the last 10 years of results.

Tails has won six of the last 10 times for the Super Bowl coin toss. So maybe you lean that way for Sunday’s contest between the Eagles and Chiefs?

Or, the universe will balance it out and make sure heads wins this year. Anyway, there will still be a football game after the coin toss!

Super Bowl LIX coin toss among many prop bets

The coin toss isn’t the only prop bet for Sunday’s game. Of course, many will get their parlays in and pick for the Eagles or Chiefs. But what about after the game?

How about the Gatorade color for the winning team? Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid will be looking for his third consecutive Gatorade bath as the franchise looks to do something no other team has done by winning three titles in a row.

The color was purple both previous times the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.

As for the Philadelphia Eagles, they’ll look to stop the Chiefs’ historic run and win their first championship since Super Bowl LII. That year, Doug Pederson received a blue Gatorade bath.

Here are the odds for the Gatorade color in Super Bowl LIX, according to Odds Shark .

Super Bowl LIX is shaping up to be an intriguing matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles. Kansas City is a 1.5-point favorite as of Friday night, according to FanDuel , as it looks to make history with a third consecutive victory in the big game.
