Former South Africa star Faf du Plessis will be making a return to the Delhi Capitals (DC) playing XI
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is heating up, and fans are eagerly awaiting the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) later today, April 11.
Ahead of the match, both captains confirmed the playing XIs and discussed key batting positions.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have made two changes to their squad for the match against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2025).
RCB will be looking to continue their winning momentum as they take on Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Bangalore-based side had a strong start to the tournament, defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening fixture.
However, they suffered a setback in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who chased down a 190-run target to claim a six-wicket victory.
Ahead of the match against DC, RCB captain Virat Kohli confirmed that Suyash Sharma and Rasikh Dar Salam will be returning to the main squad.
They replace Jacob Bethell and Swapnil Singh, who were part of the playing XI in the previous game against SRH.
"Suyash and Rasikh come in. Unfortunate for Bethell and Swapnil Singh. We’ve decided on our batting order and KL will bat in the middle-order."
The news of Faf du Plessis's return was confirmed by Axar Patel during the coin toss.
"Faf is fit, he’s in and (Sameer Rizvi) Rizzie is out. We’ve decided on our batting order and KL will bat in the middle-order."
