Shiba Inu Prediction: Volatility Cools, Sentiment Goes Sour
Mar 27, 2024 at 02:00 pm
Amidst increased exchange inflow, indicating potential selling pressure, the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB) has seen a 12.28% surge in the past 24 hours. However, the dwindling number of tokens burned and a shift towards negative market sentiment suggest a potential decline in SHIB's value.
Shiba Inu's Price Prediction: Volatility Declines, Sentiment Turns Negative
Shiba Inu's (SHIB) burn rate has remained stagnant, indicating a potential slowdown in token destruction. While the price has recently surged, analysts observe growing exchange inflows, suggesting imminent selling pressure.
Token Burn Rate Stagnates
According to Shibburn, a SHIB burn tracker, the number of burned tokens has remained relatively unchanged over the past 24 hours, totaling approximately 23.60 million. This represents a marginal increase of 0.10% compared to March 25.
Token burning is crucial for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. A high burn rate can stabilize token value and potentially boost prices in the future. However, the current stagnation in burning activity suggests a lack of momentum in this regard.
Price Volatility May Subside
Despite the recent price increase of 12.28%, analysts anticipate potential downward pressure on SHIB. Data from Santiment reveals a significant increase in exchange inflows, reaching 164.52 billion, while outflows were recorded at a lower level of 40.92 billion.
This asymmetry indicates that more participants are depositing SHIB into exchanges than withdrawing, suggesting a willingness to book profits. Should a substantial portion of these holders decide to sell, a price decline may ensue, potentially driving the token down to $0.000028 or even $0.000025.
Negative Sentiment and Declining Volatility
On-chain sentiment analysis reveals a bearish shift in sentiment. As of press time, SHIB's Weighted Sentiment has dropped to -0.409, indicating that discussions surrounding the token are predominantly negative.
Additionally, volatility has decreased, suggesting that significant price fluctuations are less likely in the near term. This may temper expectations for substantial price swings, either upwards or downwards. If buying pressure persists, SHIB may experience a gradual rise to $0.000032. Conversely, profit-booking could drive the price down to $0.000025 or lower.
Long-Term Outlook
While the current market conditions present downside risks, SHIB's price may potentially extend beyond these forecasts later in the year. However, a correction is still a possibility at some point in the future.
