The 78-year-old president's presence at the game drew a mixed response, with some questioning his attendance and others cheering his appearance on the big screen. He appeared "weary and tense" as he scanned the crowd for his fans, perhaps due to Melania's absence.

Several people took to social media platform X to ask about Melania's whereabouts and question why she would not accompany her husband to such an iconic and historic event. Most of the netizens inquiring about her absence on social media appeared to be genuinely concerned, while others used the opportunity to comment on the Trumps and their alleged marital problems.

"Hmm! Where’s Melania? Has she even moved into the WH, or is she busy filing for divorce?" one post read, while another stated, "Melania is at home? I can’t say I blame her, tbh."

Melania's absence may also be linked to her recent business venture, which encountered a significant setback. Her meme coin experienced a drastic decline earlier this week.

Melania Trump's latest cryptocurrency, $MELANIA, experienced a steep decline in value of about 90 per cent since Donald Trump's inauguration. President Trump's meme coin, $TRUMP, also faced a significant drop. According to CoinMarketCap, its value decreased by 75 per cent from its peak.

Despite her successful modeling career and the financial earnings from her best-selling memoir, Melania is likely feeling the impact of her meme coin's failure. This could partly explain her absence from the biggest sporting event of the year.

Before the game, Fox News reporter Bret Baier conducted a pre-recorded interview with Donald Trump, a practice typically followed by US presidents. Although Donald Trump opted out during his first administration in 2018, Joe Biden also chose not to participate in the interviews that took place in 2023 and 2024.

During the Fox News interview, Trump praised Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who expressed his enthusiasm about playing in front of the president. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce also acknowledged the president's presence, stating, "It's a great honor... having the president there—it's the best country in the world—and that's pretty cool."

The game also saw the attendance of former First Lady Jill Biden, a known Eagles supporter, who was present with her grandson. However, former President Joe Biden did not attend the event. Donald Trump's visit follows his presence at the Army-Navy football game in December, where he was joined by several political figures.
