Marvel Rivals Season 2, "Hellfire Gala," heats up the battlefield with exciting improvements, new heroes, and a colorful new Battle Pass. Set in the mutant haven of Krakoa, this season introduces fresh map rotations, like the lush "Hellfire Gala: Krakoa," to spice up competitive play, while enhanced features, such as optimized matchmaking and reworked Team-Up abilities, foster strategic synergy. A huge balancing patch also empowers diverse hero builds, allowing tanks, duelists, and more to shine in varied team compositions.

Emma Frost, the 38th hero and a fearsome Vanguard, spearheads the season. Her telepathic abilities and diamond-form brawling devastate frontlines in style. Ultron, slated for a mid-season debut, promises to bring his own brand of chaos and destruction, further expanding the roster's variety. The new "Flower of Krakoa" Battle Pass boasts ten exclusive skins, such as Spider-Man’s "Spider-Oni" and the Hulk’s "Joe Fixit." Moreover, new weekly missions streamline Chrono Token earnings, facilitating progression.

Besides cosmetics, Season 2 introduces gifting features and faction improvements, which are sure to foster community play. However, as with every Rivals season, a new event called the "Cerebro Database" has landed, and it is filled with missions and exclusive rewards linked to the X-Men lineage.

How to complete Marvel Rivals Cerebro Database missions and claim rewards

Marvel Rivals has finally launched the new Cerebro Database event in Season 2, which brings four stages of missions for players to complete in order to unlock a free Flora Maiden Mantis skin in the game. These missions unlock over time, and unless otherwise stated, they can be completed in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs. AI modes.

There are four tiles that appear on the event screen; however, as of now, only the first tile with Emma Frost on it is available to be accessed. Click on that tile, and a 3×3 grid with octagons will appear in front of you with nine missions listed in each of them.

Hover above an octagon to see the mission you’re supposed to complete. Complete three tasks in the same Row/Column/Diagonal to form a line. Achieve any three lines to complete the entire event – with any remaining missions instantly marked done. Then, claim your rewards via the button on the event page.
