Magnet Labs: Building the Essential Infrastructure for an AI-Powered Blockchain Experience
Jan 30, 2025 at 01:01 pm
Magnet Labs defines the on-chain agents of the future as falling into three categories: Human-to-Agent (H2A), Agent-to-Human (A2H), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A).
Good morning. Mitsui from Web3 researcher.
Today I researched "Magnet Labs".

🔵What is Magnet Labs?
Magnet Labs is building the essential infrastructure for an AI-powered blockchain experience.
Magnet Labs defines the on-chain agents of the future as falling into three categories
Human-to-Agent (H2A):Also called intent-based agents, these agents assist humans in performing transactionstransfers, swaps, transactions, and so on.
Agent-to-Human (A2H): These agents operate autonomously and participate in social interactions, automated transactions, asset management, token creation and otheractivities such as social interactions, automated transactions, asset management, token creation, etc.
Agent-to-Agent (A2A):The ultimate evolution of the Agentic Web.Agents not only interact autonomously with humans, but also create and manage other AI agents to handle more complex and larger scenarios.
Magnet Labs" allows users to create these three types of agents with a single click. The on-chain agents you create can be freely programmed to perform the following actions
Automatic transfers
Swap
Automated Transactions
Batch transactions
Social interactions on platforms such as Twitter, Farcaster, Discord, Telegram, etc.
Smart contract execution
CEX Transactions
Additional Advanced Features
Before we get to the specific products, we will briefly touch on the Magnet Tech Stack that underpins them.It consists of the following three core components
ActionVM: Off-chain virtual machine for running action agents.
Creator Hub : A code-free collaborative platform to build and deploy action agents.
Agent MarketPlace: a marketplace for sharing, leveraging and monetizing Action Agents.
ActionVM is the underlying component of the Magnet protocol and is designed to provide a robust runtime environment for action agents. We will not describe the components in more detail here, but simply put, it is the underlying system that connects existing LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to on-chain agents.
Creator Hub is an open collaborative platform designed for agent creators, with two types of participants: action creators and agent creators.
Agent Creators manage agent creation and version upgrades, and provide agent-specific knowledge base and business process definitions. The Action Creator on the other hand develops and implements various action code snippets, such as token swaps, on-chain data queries, and social media operations (e.g. sending tweets) for already created agents.
Each agent will also be issued an agent token, which will be used for DAO voting and contribution rewards.
Furthermore, the agents created through those processes are used by users through Agent MarketPlace, and the fees are distributed.
The image is similar to Virtual Protocol. An agent DAO exists, starting from an agent token, and the agent is updated. The more that agent is used, the more commission is generated and distributed to DAO members. There are minor differences in commission rates, but please refer to the documentation for details.
Now that we have had a lot of abstract explanations, let's look at what specific products "Magnet Labs" is building using these challenges, vision, and technology stack.
⚙️Concrete Products
"Magnet Labs" currently offers three types of products.
