This transformation marks a decisive shift towards Web3 banking, aiming to integrate DeFi with traditional financial systems.

EOS Network Rebrands Itself as Vaulta, Shifting Focus to Web3 Banking

The EOS Network is rebranding as Vaulta in a move to pivot towards Web3 banking, aiming to integrate decentralized finance (DeFi) with traditional financial systems.

The rebrand was announced at the Blockworks Digital Asset Summit in New York on March 18, 2025. The brand's mission is to create a secure, scalable, and inclusive financial ecosystem using blockchain technology.

"This rebranding is a testament to years of planning, development, and the dedication of our entire team," said Yves La Rose, founder and CEO of the Vaulta Foundation. "We are committed to delivering open and accessible financial services to everyone."

As part of the rebranding, a token swap is scheduled for the end of May 2025. EOS token holders will be able to exchange their tokens for Vaulta tokens at a 1:1 rate through a specially designed portal. The swap will be bi-directional for four months to facilitate a seamless transition.

The new token will also be listed on the nearly 140 exchanges where EOS is currently traded.

The market has reacted positively to this announcement. The EOS token surged by 17% shortly after the rebrand was unveiled, showcasing renewed investor confidence in the network's future.

At the time of writing, the token has seen an additional 19% price increase from its previous price point, now trading at $0.5846. This price spike highlights the market's optimism about Vaulta's potential to revolutionize Web3 banking.

This rebranding marks a new chapter for the EOS Network, which has encountered difficulties since its launch. With its focus on Web3 banking and integration of TradFi, Vaulta is strategically positioned to become a leader in the evolving financial landscape.

Moreover, Vaulta's partnerships with leading institutions and its planned offerings, such as fractional ownership of real-world assets, staking, and Bitcoin yield strategies, showcase its commitment to offering innovative solutions.
