Destiny 2 quest guide for Bento Tokens (week 1)
Jan 22, 2025 at 07:03 am
With only two weeks before a new Destiny 2 episode, a mini-event with powerful rewards goes live to keep players invested.
Destiny 2 players can now participate in a mini-event that offers powerful rewards, such as god roll Legendary weapons and Artifice armor pieces. This event, which spans two weeks, is ideal for beginners looking to enhance their characters.
The mini-event features a series of quests that players must complete to earn special currencies, ultimately leading to powerful loot with specific perks. This article provides a beginner's guide to the mini-event, explaining how to earn Bento Tokens and efficiently complete the quests.
Each account can only acquire eight Tokens throughout the event. Five can be earned via quests in week 1, and the remaining three will be available during the final week of Episode Revenant. This article focuses on week 1 quests and the five Bento Tokens associated with them.
Upon logging in with one of your characters after the January 21 weekly reset, visit Drifter at the Tower and speak to him to obtain the "Packed Lunch" quest. This quest requires you to complete five Bento Box quests.
It's important to note that week 1 will grant you five Bento Tokens, which should not be confused with quests. This specific questline is time-gated until the next weekly reset or the following Friday.
Once you've acquired the "Packed Lunch" quest, proceed to collect four more quests from the "Limited-time Event" section. These quests will reward you with the five Bento Tokens for this week.
After opening the "Limited-time Event" section, you'll find four quests. Pick them up and follow the objectives outlined in each quest. Here's a summary of what you need to do:
To efficiently complete multiple steps simultaneously, equip a Malfeasance Hand Cannon and head to the Sorrow's Harbor on the Moon. Participate in the Altars of Sorrow activity to complete the "Martial Mementos" and "Nightmare Lunch" quests.
You'll also notice that one-half of the "A Dubious Bento" quest will be completed, leaving only the Gambit step.
For this step, join a public Gambit match and complete it within the first few minutes. You can then leave the match and proceed to the next quest.
Finally, for the "The Stuff of Legends" quest, we recommend facing The Shattered Throne final boss, which is the easiest option for solo players. If you're running with a fire team, ensure that another checkpoint is saved on a different character before attempting.
Upon completing all the quests, return to Eris Morn at the Moon to collect the Tokens. Next, open the "Time-Limited Event" section in her inventory, where you'll find all the reward options. Here's what you can buy:
The Chatterwhite shader is linked to the "Packed Lunch" quest, which will become available with the next set of quests. This event, along with all associated rewards, will expire once Episode Heresy is released on February 4.
