Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers React Differently to Pro Bowl Selections
Jan 03, 2025 at 02:22 am
There are two sides to every coin. As is the case with two teammates on the Baltimore Ravens who both accomplished the same goal, yet each had two very different reactions in accomplishing that goal.

Baltimore Ravens teammates Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers both made the Pro Bowl, but their reactions couldn't have been more different.
For Henry, it was just another day at the office. The star running back calmly accepted the news from general manager Eric DeCosta.
"You made the Pro Bowl," DeCosta said.
"Cool," Henry responded.
Henry had a typically dominant season, rushing for nearly 1,800 yards and 16 total touchdowns. He was the clear-cut choice for the Pro Bowl at running back in the AFC, and his selection came as no surprise.
Flowers' reaction, on the other hand, was priceless. The Baltimore Ravens' social team posted a video of DeCosta breaking the news to Flowers, and his joyous expression said it all.
"I don't even know what to say," an emotional Flowers said with a huge smile across his face.
"I can't even cry. It's crazy, this is something I dreamed about as a kid…
"Everybody has dreams of doing it, but it's crazy when it really hits.
"Got the Pro Bowl."
Flowers had a breakout season in 2022, catching 73 passes for 1,047 yards and four touchdowns with one game of the regular season still to go. He became the first wide receiver in Baltimore's 29-year history to make the Pro Bowl.
Both Henry and Flowers are highly deserving of the Pro Bowl honor, and their contrasting reactions highlight the different personalities on the Baltimore Ravens.
