Binance Labs Announces Season II Incubation Program Participants, Showcases Global Blockchain Diversity

Binance Labs, the investment and incubation arm of Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled the 13 promising startups selected for its Season II incubation program. The program, launched in 2018, provides mentorship, resources, and funding to early-stage blockchain ventures.

"Our mission is to identify and support the most innovative blockchain projects worldwide," said Ella Zhang, Head of Binance Labs. "We are thrilled to welcome this exceptional cohort of startups, representing a diverse range of blockchain applications and solutions."

The selected startups encompass a wide spectrum of blockchain technologies and use cases, including security, philanthropy, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), payment gateways, anti-phishing solutions, and blockchain scalability.

Among the notable participants are:

  • BaseZero: A security platform tailored to the unique requirements of cryptocurrency institutions.
  • Bit Sika: A philanthropic platform enabling seamless crypto donations to charitable organizations.
  • Mavrik: An NFT company providing tools and services for the creation, distribution, and management of digital collectibles.
  • Yellow Card: A cash-to-crypto gateway facilitating the conversion of fiat currency into cryptocurrencies in Africa.
  • Cryptosec: An anti-phishing solution designed to protect cryptocurrency companies from phishing attacks.
  • Espresso Systems: A "Layer-0 scaling solution" that enhances the performance and scalability of public blockchains.

"The diversity of projects in this incubation cohort is a testament to the transformative potential of blockchain technology," Zhang remarked. "We are excited to witness the advancements and contributions these startups will make to the blockchain ecosystem."

Binance Labs' incubation program offers a comprehensive suite of support services, including mentorship guidance from industry experts, technical assistance, marketing support, and access to Binance's vast network and resources.

"Our goal is to empower these startups to succeed and accelerate their growth," said Zhang. "We are actively involved in their development, providing tailored support and guidance every step of the way."

In addition to its incubation program, Binance Labs also operates the Binance Launchpad, a platform that facilitates fundraising for promising blockchain projects. In 2019, Binance Launchpad has supported several successful initial exchange offerings (IEOs), including that of Fetch.AI.
