Binance Founder CZ Launches a Pay-to-Message Service Targeting His 3M+ Twitter Followers

Changpeng Zhao, better known as CZ, has just introduced a very interesting messaging service on ReachMe.io: users can now message the crypto executive for a fee paid in Binance Coin (BNB).

The Pay to Reach function was created in order to make the messaging process more effective, as well as to reduce the amount of spam messages in your inbox. Usually, messages to crypto executives and influencers can quickly get lost in the vast sea of online communication.

Those who wish to reach out to CZ on a more personal level will now have to pay a small fee to do so. Initially, the cost was set at 0.04 BNB ($24), but due to an influx of irrelevant posts, CZ raised it to 0.2 BNB ($120).

For this price, users are guaranteed a reply within five days, or they will receive a 50% refund of their initial payment. It is noteworthy that the donor will be giving the proceeds to charity.

This seems to point out that CZ is truly trying to strike a balance between being accessible to his followers and engaging with them in a meaningful way. However, it is also important to consider the implications of this initiative for the future of online interaction.

As crypto elites become increasingly busy, it is likely that we will see more instances of messages being sold to raise money for good causes. In an age of increasing skepticism towards institutions, it is heartening to see individuals in the public eye using their platform to support causes they care about.

Binance Founder CZ’s Pricey Messages: The $120 Experiment

Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, is launching a new messaging system on the platform, thus enabling anyone to send him direct messages at a cost in Binance Coin (BNB). The “Pay to Reach” guarantee promises that the user will receive a response within five days, failing which the user is entitled to a 50% refund. CZ states that he has no intention of profiting from the scheme and intends to donate all proceeds to charity.

Crypto elites are launching new and interesting ventures. Recently, we covered the launch of the new messaging service on ReachMe.io by crypto influencer and TRON founder Justin Sun. Another crypto executive who is engaging with his followers in a unique way is Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance.

Those who wish to reach out to Zhao on a more personal level will now have to pay a small fee to do so. Initially, the cost was set at 0.04 BNB ($24). However, due to an influx of irrelevant posts, Zhao was forced to raise the price to 0.2 BNB ($120).

For this price, users are guaranteed a reply within five days, or they will receive a 50% refund of their initial payment. Moreover, Zhao will be donating all of the proceeds to charity.

This initiative was launched in collaboration with the cryptocurrency influencer messaging platform ReachMe.io. The platform currently manages over 70 KOLs who set their own messaging charges, with the cheapest being 0.01 BNB and the dearest being 0.2 BNB.

Earlier this year, Ben Armstrong, the host of the widely followed crypto YouTube channel Armstrong World, was one of the first to experiment with a similar concept. Viewers were given the opportunity to pay 0.01 BNB to have their questions answered in a future video.

However, these types of messages were largely met with negativity and viewers complained about the format of the videos. A large majority preferred the usual content and voted it to be more engaging.

As the lines between the online and offline worlds continue to blur, it is becoming increasingly important for professionals to find new and innovative ways to manage their digital presence.

With the rapid pace of technological advancement, it is clear that the way we communicate and interact with each other is constantly evolving. In an age of increasing skepticism towards institutions, it is heartening to see individuals in the public eye using their platform to support causes they care about.
