Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has added four new altcoins to its pre-listing pool, Binance Alpha. The additions are Grass (GRASS), Aethir Token (ATH), Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW), and Big Time (BIGTIME).

While inclusion in Binance Alpha does not guarantee a spot market listing, it signals that Binance will be reviewing these tokens and may consider placing them on the exchange’s spot market if they meet the required criteria.

Of the four new altcoins, Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW) was a major player in the memecoin craze earlier this year and reached a peak valuation of over $1 billion. However, the token’s market value has since slid to $250 million.

Despite its volatility, the token’s inclusion in the Binance Alpha pool suggests that it still has enough market potential for Binance to consider offering it for broader exposure on its exchange.

Meanwhile, Big Time (BIGTIME) is the altcoin with the smallest market capitalization among the new Binance Alpha listings. The token, which is already listed on major centralized exchanges like Coinbase and Upbit, is known for its role in the fast-growing Web3 gaming sector.

Despite its lower market value, BIGTIME’s placement in the pool signals the potential for the token to grow further as it gains traction within the broader crypto community.

As Binance Alpha expands its altcoin offerings, it will be interesting to see which of these tokens, if any, make it to Binance’s spot market in the coming months.
