Axie Infinity has officially begun rolling out Phase 1 of its highly anticipated Homeland Rarity Storage Update, via an announcement on their official X account. This update is designed to bolster in-game storage for players, effectively resolving the prior storage shortage issue.
Phase 1 of the Homeland Rarity Storage Update is LIVE — and MOAR!
The Storage Shortage is Over 🏆
Last week, we shared our 2-phase update for better Homeland in-game storage.
Today, we shipped phase 1 and some extra goodies.
Here’s what’s new 🧵👇 pic.twitter.com/iIYbFqodCO
As part of this update, players will now be granted increased storage space relative to the levels of their buildings. Taller buildings will accommodate greater storage, which aligns closely with Axie Infinity's core leveling up mechanic. This adjustment is intended to seamlessly address player progression without introducing hindrances or limitations that could otherwise detract from the gameplay experience.
The next phase, Phase 2, is expected to commence in November. This upcoming phase will introduce further solutions to the rarity storage issue and establish systematic mechanics for optimizing resource utilization. Fans can anticipate more details to be unveiled through future leaks, which are bound to generate excitement among the players.
In addition to the storage enhancements, the update also brings some general quality of life improvements. Notably, players can now alter plot properties with Ancient Coins after the first time for free.
Axie Infinity Latest Update Includes Bug Fixes
The update also rectifies several bugs, such as the issue where multiple Moonfall tickets could be acquired by continuously clicking on the claim button. Furthermore, players can now request permission to remove Axies with a "Change Owner" status, which some players have encountered. Other bug fixes include improvements to the item search function and adjustments to the expiring status of Axies in Delegation.
Ultimately, this update is centered around improving the players' experience. Reduced bugs and enhanced storage solutions pave the way for a more enjoyable Axie Infinity gameplay. The community eagerly awaits Phase 2 and the new and improved features that it will introduce.
