6 Altcoins to Buy During This Market Dip as Bitcoin (BTC) Holds Around $95K

Feb 24, 2025 at 05:54 pm

While most cryptocurrencies are in the red, Altcoin Daily's host has highlighted six altcoins worth buying during this dip.

6 Altcoins to Buy During This Market Dip as Bitcoin (BTC) Holds Around $95K

As the crypto market experienced a slight dip following the Bybit hack, several altcoins faced varying degrees of decline. XRP, for instance, saw a decrease amid the rising adoption of RLUSD, a stablecoin on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). On the other hand, Solana took a hit with a loss of over 6%.

However, amidst the market downturn, Altcoin Daily’s host highlighted six altcoins that might be worth considering during this dip.

1. XRP’s RLUSD Backing

With the rising adoption of RLUSD, a stablecoin on the XRP Ledger, XRP stands to benefit from the increased trading volume and adoption on XRPL’s decentralized exchanges.

2. ONDO – The Institutional Gateway to RWAs

Ondo Finance is a project that tokenizes real-world assets (RWAs) like stocks, bonds, and equities on the blockchain. Recently, they announced Ono Chain, their Layer 1 blockchain built for institutional-grade RWAs.

3. Ethereum (ETH) – Big Firms Are Stockpiling

While Ethereum remains the backbone of DeFi and smart contracts, what's making waves now is the amount of ETH being scooped up by big players. Bybit, one of the top crypto exchanges, just bought nearly $100 million worth of ETH to cover a hack, showcasing its confidence in Ethereum’s long-term value. Even more surprising is Donald Trump’s Liberty Financial, which holds over half a billion dollars in ETH.

4. Solana (SOL) – Could Be a Game Changer

Solana is another top pick, as Bitwise Europe’s latest report predicts Solana could hit between $2,318 (bear case) and $6,600 (bull case) by 2030. The analyst notes that many investors are sleeping on Solana, but the network’s rapid adoption, developer activity, and institutional interest make it a top bet for the next cycle.

5. Bitcoin (BTC) + Cardano (ADA) DeFi Connection

Bitcoin remains a key pick, but the analyst highlights a growing Bitcoin-Cardano connection that could significantly impact BTC DeFi. In a recent appearance on the Mr. M podcast, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson explained how Babel Fees will allow users to pay transaction fees in wrapped Bitcoin (BTC) instead of ADA.

6. Chainlink, BitTensor, VeChain & Supra: The Blue-Chip Altcoin Mix

For those looking for low-cap assets with high conviction, the analyst picks Chainlink, BitTensor, VeChain, and Supra. Chainlink is the leading oracle provider, BitTensor is a top-notch AI-powered blockchain network, VeChain dominates supply chain solutions, and Supra is a newer blockchain infrastructure project.
