How to Restore a Dogecoin Core Wallet

2. Create a New Wallet or Import an Existing One
New Wallet:
- Click on "Create new wallet" and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet and set up a password.

- Enter the wallet password when prompted.
3. Locate Your Backup File
If you have a backup of your wallet, locate the file named "wallet.dat" in the following locations depending on your operating system:
- Windows: %APPDATA%\Dogecoin\
- Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Dogecoin/
- Linux: ~/.dogecoin/
4. Replace the Existing Wallet File
- Close the Dogecoin Core wallet software.

- Move the old "wallet.dat" file to a safe location for backup.
- Copy and paste the backup "wallet.dat" file into the data directory.
5. Restart the Dogecoin Core Wallet

6. Synchronize the Blockchain
