How to Open a CoinEx Contract Account

CoinEx is a cryptocurrency exchange that offers a variety of trading products, including spot trading, margin trading, and futures trading. To access the futures trading platform, you must first create a CoinEx contract account.

Step 1: Create a CoinEx Account

To create a CoinEx account, go to the CoinEx website (https://www.coinex.com/) and click on the "Sign Up" button. Enter your email address or mobile phone number and create a password. You will then need to verify your account by clicking on the verification link sent to your email address or mobile phone.

Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

For added security, we recommend enabling 2FA on your CoinEx account. To do this, go to the "Security Settings" page in your account dashboard and click on the "Enable 2FA" button. You will then need to enter your phone number and verify your identity by entering the code sent to your phone.

Step 3: Create a Contract Account

Once you have created a CoinEx account and enabled 2FA, you can create a contract account. To do this, go to the "Futures" tab in your account dashboard and click on the "Create Contract Account" button. You will then need to select the type of contract account you want to create (USDT-margined or Coin-margined) and click on the "Create" button.

Step 4: Fund Your Contract Account

Once you have created a contract account, you will need to fund it with USDT or coins. To do this, go to the "Deposit" page in your account dashboard and select the type of asset you want to deposit. You will then need to enter the amount you want to deposit and click on the "Deposit" button.

Step 5: Start Trading

Once you have funded your contract account, you can start trading futures contracts. To do this, go to the "Futures" tab in your account dashboard and select the contract you want to trade. You will then need to enter the order type, quantity, and price and click on the "Buy" or "Sell" button.

Here are some additional tips for opening a CoinEx contract account:

  • Use a strong password and keep it secret.
  • Store your CoinEx API keys in a safe place.
  • Enable 2FA to protect your account from unauthorized access.
  • Only trade with funds that you can afford to lose.
  • If you have any questions, please contact CoinEx customer support.
