What is the Issuance and Circulation Volume of METIS Coins?
1. Issuance
METIS coins were initially issued through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) held on September 23, 2021. During the ICO, 250 million METIS coins were made available for purchase at a price of $0.045 per coin.
2. Circulation Volume
As of February 2023, the circulating supply of METIS coins is approximately 106.5 million. This represents about 42.6% of the total issuance.
The remaining 143.5 million METIS coins are held in reserve by the METIS team. These coins will be released gradually over time to support the ecosystem and development of the METIS protocol.
