CELR coins, initially issued in a 2018 token sale, have a total supply of 10 billion, with 60% currently in circulation and the rest reserved for various purposes.

The Issuance and Circulation of CELR Coins
1. Issuance
Celer Network (CELR) coins were initially issued through a public token sale held on March 16, 2018. The token sale raised a total of $25 million, with approximately 600 million CELR coins sold.
2. Circulation
The total supply of CELR coins is 10 billion, of which approximately 60% is currently in circulation. The remaining 40% is reserved for future development, operations, and community rewards.
3. Distribution
The current distribution of CELR coins is as follows:
- Public sale: 600 million (6%)
- Reserved for future development: 2.5 billion (25%)
- Reserved for operations: 1.5 billion (15%)
- Reserved for community rewards: 1 billion (10%)
- Team and advisors: 800 million (8%)
- Early investors: 300 million (3%)
- Marketing and partnerships: 200 million (2%)
- Reserve: 2.1 billion (21%)
4. Tokenomics
The CELR token has the following key tokenomics:
- Utility: CELR coins are used to pay transaction fees on the Celer Network, as well as for staking to receive rewards.
- Deflationary: CELR coins are burned to pay for transaction fees, reducing the overall supply and increasing the value of remaining coins.
- Governance: CELR token holders have the right to vote on proposed changes to the Celer Network.
5. Trading
CELR coins are currently traded on a number of cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken. The current price of CELR is approximately $0.05 USD.
