Shiba Inu’s lead developer has outlined an ambitious vision for the SHIB ecosystem, which will see the TREAT token launch in less than five days.

Speaking during the latest episode of “ShyTalks” on Thursday, Shytoshi Kusama explained how the Shiba Inu network will be driven by a “network state,” ranging from small private groups to large-scale communities or nations.

“This system is modular. You can combine certain components to build whatever platform or service you envision,” he said.

“We wanted to make something that has long-term potential. It’s easy to survive one cycle but very difficult to survive many. Through Divine Providence, we’ve now built a system that can bring anyone from Web2 to Web3.”

He also highlighted Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 solution, which has nearly two million wallets and over 700 million transactions.

“We’re aiming for one billion transactions per day by the end of the year, and Shibarium will play a crucial role in achieving this goal,” Kusama added.

However, some projects, such as the Shiba Inu metaverse, have been delayed due to the complexity of developing cutting-edge technology.

“Good tech takes time,” Kusama said. “Apple doesn’t announce an iPhone until it’s done, and we’ve taken a similar approach to maintain our business advantage and trade secrets.”

Kusama’s comments come as the TREAT token is set to launch imminently, promising to enhance the ecosystem with additional utility and reward mechanisms.

According to Kusama, the token’s debut will coincide with expanded initiatives in the UAE and other countries.

notably, TREAT will initially launch on the Ethereum blockchain, with plans to make it bridgeable to Shibarium later. The token will also debut on several prominent centralized exchanges, with GATE.io, KuCoin, and Bitget confirmed as the initial launch partners, as Kusama announced in multiple Friday tweets.
