TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard, who boasts 212,000 followers on the platform, has revealed three coins from centuries ago that could be worth a small fortune.

The user, whose real name is Jay, discussed the three special penny coins – and one's worth a mega £1million if you manage to find it in your stash.

Detailing another, he said: "In 1950, they only made 240,000 coins that means for £1,000 you could have bought all the 1950 pennies ever made. After the war there was a great shortage of small change.

Talking about the 1954 penny, the TikTok poster revealed: "This is one of Britain's most famous coin rarities, many other coins are of equal or greater rarity, but for some reason the 1954 has become the best known of these rarities.
