On October 1, 2024, Powerledger began deprecating its proprietary blockchain, signaling a pivotal shift for the POWR token as it migrates to both Ethereum and Solana ecosystems. This dual-chain strategy opens up new possibilities for tokenizing, trading, and tracking renewable energy assets, such as surplus clean energy, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and carbon credits (CCs), all while fostering global environmental accountability.
