Whales went big on OM, as evident by a 407% rise in whale activity, according to AMBCrypto’s analysis.

When whale activity rises, it usually implies that large players are confident in the market’s direction and expect prices to rise further.

Now, while rising activity could either be selling or buying, the spike in exchange outflow implied that whales were accumulating.

As such, Mantra’s spot netflow turned negative over the past day for the first time in 5 days. OM’s netflow dropped to -1.32 million, signaling high exchange outflow.

With outflows outweighing inflows, it suggested that investors were optimistic and acquiring the altcoin before prices rose further.

This buying activity in the market was further evidenced by the fact that OM’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) continued to rise.

However, despite the RSI rising to settle at 73 at press time, it was yet to reach overbought conditions and, hence, Mantra had some more room for growth before a correction emerged.

Finally, the market confidence observed above was even more evident among large holders. As such, Mantra’s MVRV Long/Short Difference rose from 117% to reach 131% over the past week.

This implied that not only were the profit margins for Long-Term Holders (LTHs) rising, but so was their market confidence.

As OM experienced strong bullish sentiment, the altcoin tested a key support level at $7.6. Now, if the altcoin broke out of this level to the upside, Mantra would go on to set another ATH.
