Technical problems with Solana’s Phantom wallet have left several eligible recipients unable to claim their GRASS tokens. This airdrop has been generating a lot of buzz, as the Grass Foundation is distributing 10% of the token’s supply.

Many in the crypto community have been criticizing Grass Network’s airdrop model for months. There is a hard cap of 1 billion GRASS tokens, with 10% being allocated for the initial airdrop. According to the distribution plan, 1.5% will go to closed alpha testers and 7% will be distributed to participants in Epochs 1 through 7.

Phantom Wallet’s recent downtime is making these problems worse. This is not the first time Phantom has had technical difficulties this year; similar incidents occurred in February and August.

Multiple users have complained on X that they are still unable to access their airdropped tokens even an hour after it went live. Some reported that their wallet addresses are showing up as ‘not eligible,’ even though Glass Network’s airdrop checker previously showed that they were.

Solana’s largest wallet has occasionally failed to display accurate token balances and account information for its users. These recurring problems have increased dissatisfaction among crypto enthusiasts who rely on Phantom for their transactions.

It’s worth noting that some DePIN projects have had successful 2024. Binance listed the IO token from io.net on June 11. The IO token is the main currency within io.net, covering fees, transactions, and contributor rewards for those sharing GPU resources.
