Prominent crypto advocate Anthony Pompliano recently shared his bullish outlook for Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and the broader crypto market in 2025.

According to Pompliano, the key driver for digital assets in 2025 will be their increasing adoption by the traditional finance industry.

“I think the big story of 2025 is going to be that crypto has now grown up and is part of the traditional financial system,” he said on Fox Business.

He also anticipates that Bitcoin will continue to lead the crypto space, attracting the bulk of capital inflows from the traditional sector.

“I think that Bitcoin is the king and will remain the king. Most of the capital flows from the traditional world are going into Bitcoin. There are going to be other assets that enter into the market, you obviously see the Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) ETF get approved and you'll probably see others get approved as well,” he said during the interview.

Pompliano further noted that the argument for any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin is primarily technological, similar to the choice between tech giants like Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), and Facebook (NASDAQ:META).

“The argument for anything other than Bitcoin is a very different one, it's a technology argument. It's no different than trying to pick between Google, Amazon, and Facebook. The Bitcoin argument is much more akin to ‘Do I want to protect my purchasing power?’” he said.

Despite Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's recent statement that the U.S. is legally barred from holding BTC as a reserve asset, Pompliano remains optimistic about Bitcoin's future. At the time of reporting, Bitcoin was trading at $94,108, down 2.1% for the day.
