Investment management giant BlackRock has now purchased over $1 billion worth of Bitcoin, with its total holdings exceeding 570,000 BTC.

As reported by blockchain intelligence platform Arkham Intelligence, BlackRock now holds approximately 2.7% of the total Bitcoin supply.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) also continues to lead the Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) sector. After encountering a few record outflows this month, IBIT made a strong recovery on January 24, generating over $1 billion in trading volume within the first two hours.
