An anonymous NFT collector has sold Alien CryptoPunk #3100 for 4,000 ETH, according to data from the official CryptoPunks marketplace on April 11, 2025. The sale was processed through a private transaction. At the time of sale, the 4,000 ETH was valued at approximately $6.07 million.

The sale of Punk #3100 resulted in a $10 million CryptoPunks sale loss. Blockchain data from Arkham Intelligence shows that the same NFT had previously sold in March 2024 for 4,500 ETH. Back then, the Ethereum price made that amount worth over $16 million.
