The U.S. regulator announced that it is dropping its four-year-old lawsuit against Ripple and had reached settlements with two executives.

The SEC had sued Ripple in December 2020, claiming that the company illegally sold unregistered securities in the form of its XRP token to raise $1.3 billion from investors.
