Theta aims to revolutionize the video streaming industry by building a decentralized and efficient ecosystem. In March 2019, a group of industry veterans, including Steve Chen, co-founder of YouTube, and Justin Kan, co-founder of Twitch, set out to solve the problems of centralization, inefficient infrastructure, and high costs that plague viewers, content creators, and video platforms.
