Six finalists were selected and supported by IOTA (IOTA) and Tenity in their Real-World Assets (RWA) Accelerator Demo Day program, which was held on September 17 in Singapore. As we reported earlier, each finalist received a $50,000 grant, mentorship, tools, and networking opportunities.

Qiro Finance

According to Qiro Finance’s presentation, it is building a unique on-chain private credit marketplace on the IOTA EVM. The goal is to connect on-chain investors with traditional Fintech funding to address the issue of increasing credit defaults in private credit protocols.

Black Frog’s presentation centered around a proposal for small-scale miners to leverage the mineral market through tokenized assets and offer returns to investors on held commodities.

Upon researching the background of its provision, CNF observed that the demand for minerals, particularly Cobalt, could increase significantly due to the growing need for a shift to green energy. To enable the industry to meet this need, Black Frog provides financing and credit facilities through loans and bonds on the IOTA platform. Recently, it announced a commodity-backed yield-bearing stablecoin to enhance the interest offerings on commodities held by small miners.

As stated by IOTA, The Real Lifestyle (TRL) provided an in-depth presentation about its vision for tokenizing and fractionalizing real estate. Notably, TRL enables investors to make fractionalized investments in home ownership and rental properties. In addition to reducing the barrier for real estate investment and generating financial returns, TRL ensures that liquidity and economic activities are brought to the IOTA EVM.

It also covered several initiatives that are fully built and in the pipeline, ranging from RWA tokenization to sustainability, digital twins, and compliance. Using IOTA’s digital product passports, Orobo can authenticate and verify products and materials.

According to them, this ensures a privacy-centric platform on the IOTA EVM.

Defa Primitive discussed the remarkable potential of transforming traditional invoices into RWA tokens. As they stated, their initiative unlocks finance for trade logistics, supply chains, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Moreover, it provides vast opportunities for on-chain investors to gain access to new opportunities on the IOTA EVM.

Commenting on the initiative for these six finalists, IOTA founder Dom Scheiner disclosed that the support and mentorship provided through the Accelerator Program accelerates the growth of RWA tokenization while ensuring that users of the IOTA EVM get cutting-edge solutions.
