Announcing a significant SEC decision in an X post on Thursday, Joe Lubin, CEO of ConsenSys, revealed that the SEC had concluded its enforcement action against ConsenSys. "We are pleased to announce that Consensys and the SEC have agreed in principle that the securities enforcement case concerning MetaMask should be dismissed," Lubin said. "Subject to the approval of the Commission, the SEC will file a stipulation with the court that effectively closes the case and the parties will make a joint recommendation for dismissal to the court."
