PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the Ken-Betwa River Link Project (KLBP) in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, on 25th December 2024.

About Ken-Betwa River Link Project:

i. It is the first project under the National Perspective Plan for interlinking of rivers, which was prepared in 1980.

ii. The Ken-Betwa Link Canal will have a length of 221 km, including a 2-km tunnel, which will transfer water from the Ken River to the Betwa river, both tributaries of the Yamuna.
