But on January 31st, a message on social media platform, X, announced that the Grace Period for the migration to the mainnet had been extended to February 28th.

The team maintains that the transition will still happen in the first half of 2025.

Despite this assurance, the Pi Network coin is facing challenges. The continuous postponements have created a negative sentiment towards the coin and some have lost confidence in the project. The widely traded Pi IOU coin has also seen a sharp decline following the postponement.

These factors suggest a strong downward momentum that could lead to further depreciation in the Pi Network Coin.
