Mantle Expands Into Latin America to Support the Flourishing Crypto Ecosystem

Layer 2 (L2) Ethereum network and on-chain ecosystem Mantle has announced its expansion into Latin America on November 26, 2024. In partnership with Odisea Labs, Mantle will support local developers in deploying and integrating projects on the Mantle Network, a key component of its ecosystem.

Mantle's ecosystem includes the Mantle Network, Mantle Governance (a decentralized autonomous organization, or DAO), Mantle Treasury (valued at $2.4 billion), and the mETH Protocol for liquid Ether staking. Since its launch on July 17, 2023, the Mantle Network has attracted over $2.1 billion in total value locked (TVL), making it one of the most prominent Ethereum L2 networks.

“Latin America is a hotbed of crypto innovation,” said a Mantle representative. “Our efforts will help local builders scale their projects globally and drive adoption in the region.”
