The price entered a consolidation period at $80,500 and then started to ascend through successive higher highs and lower lows, which channelled the pattern. This price level at $84.500 created several rejections, which established an identifiable resistance point. A momentous market breakout happened at the resistance level when investors increased their trading volume, and subsequent tests at this price point turned former resistance into support.

The price actions never disrupted the base support level of the channel which confirmed that buyers maintained full control over price drops. The price trend of BTC should remain positive if the price stays above its support level, which consists of the channel’s lower trendline. The upcoming psychological barrier at $87,000 presents the main trading opportunity for traders as strong volume could push prices up towards $88,500.
