Cosmos is a decentralized platform designed to facilitate interoperability between blockchains. The core of this ecosystem is the Cosmos Hub, serving as the central registry for multiple specialized blockchains termed as “Zones”.

However, the criterion for validator selection varies by each Zone.

Validators, vital for network consensus, are incentivized to actively participate in proposal reviews, else they might be subjected to penalties
