The world’s largest stablecoin issuer, Tether, is facing mounting pressure from competing firms and politicians, who are aiming to reduce the firm’s leading market share, said Paolo Ardoino, the company’s chief technology officer and co-founder.

Ju's outlook comes as 24% of the 200 largest cryptocurrencies have fallen to their lowest levels in more than a year, sparking speculation about possible market capitulation.
