In a report shared with TheBlock, Kendrick revealed a very optimistic view on the future of Ripple’s altcoin, projecting a 500% increase in value by 2028. He also believes that XRP is set to overtake Ethereum as the second-largest crypto by market capitalization.

The head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered also reveals that Ripple’s altcoin could reach the almost outlandish level of $12.50 per token before the next Presidential election in 2028. Given XRP’s total maximum supply of 100 billion tokens, in that scenario, the altcoin would reach a market capitalization of around $1.25 trillion.
