Alpha Quark Token (AQT) Skyrockets 190% in 24 Hours, But Will It Reach Its ATH?

The Alpha Quark Token (AQT) price skyrocketed 190% in the last 24 hours to trade at $3.52 as of 4.20 EST on trading volume that soared 27,205% to $1.4 billion.

After trading mostly sideways throughout the past week, the AQT token started surging January 8, going from $1.2284 to a resistance at $2. After being initially rejected by this level, the token finally managed to breach it around nine hours ago, when it surged up to $3, breaching several other barriers along the way.

However, this level also represented a major resistance that prevented the Alpha Quark Token price from advancing until now, when it finally broke the resistance, heading up to $3.52.

For the time being, the Alpha Quark Token’s price is continuing to skyrocket, and since it is still way off from its all-time high, that means that it has plenty of room left to grow before it reaches its known limits. Whether it will manage to do so, or potentially even exceed them, remains to be seen.

Its technical indicators suggest that traders are still quite bullish, but also that a correction could take place at any time, if traders decide to take profit instead of pumping its price further. For example, its Bollinger bands have seen a massive widening in the past hour, but the price surge was so sudden and strong that the price exceeded the limits of the upper band.

The project’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) value, however, suggests that a correction could take place soon. Yesterday, the RSI skyrocketed from the oversold zone deep into the overbought one, reaching and even slightly exceeding the value of 90.

This was then followed by a drop to the neutral zone of 50, as traders took profit, but they did not push too hard, so the RSI never went down to the oversold zone again. Instead, a new wave of purchases started after the value of 50 was reached, causing the token’s price to rise, and the RSI to once again head up into the overbought zone.

This was followed by another profit-taking opportunity, but this one was even briefer than the last, with the RSI dropping only to 57 before it surged right back up. Now, it is near the value of 80, which suggests that the trader behavior is governed by hype and FOMO, rather than the indicators.

But, with AQT now heavily overpriced, a correction will come at some point, so it might be too late to start buying it now. However, there are alternatives worth considering.
