You have 15 seconds to make your choice before the round starts, after which the round will initiate up to 3 turns, one per each lane, before giving you the option to place troops again for the next round. The opponent’s hero is the target in every battle; defeat the hero and it's game over. If there is an empty lane, the hero can actually drop into the battle and attack before going back to their spot. You can even swap troops around, so if you’d like to replace your troop in a lane with another one waiting in deck, you have the option to do that before the next round starts.
