Trump added: “My administration completed the build-up of the Strategic Reserve in accordance with the President’s executive order no. 14178, dated 1 March 2025. Trump’s statement comes after a report by Bloomberg on Monday claimed that the former president's administration was planning to create a new task force to examine the potential of a U.S.-backed stablecoin. According to the report, the task force would be headed by David Sacks, Trump’s Crypto Czar.
