한국 규제 기관은 Apple을 14 개의 암호화 앱을 차단하도록 요청합니다.

Crypto Exchanges Kucoin과 MEXC는 규제 기관이 목표로하는 회사 중 하나이며, 앱에 대한 국내 액세스가 4 월 11 일 이후 차단되었습니다.

South Korean regulators requested 14 apps from Apple be blocked domestically, belonging to unreported foreign crypto operators, a statement from the Financial Intelligence Unit said on Monday.

한국의 규제 당국은 월요일에보고되지 않은 외국 암호화 사업자에 속한 애플의 14 개의 앱을 국내 차단하도록 요청했다.

The regulator is targeting crypto exchanges KuCoin and MEXC, among others, and domestic access to their apps has been blocked since April 11, a copy of a request to Apple obtained by CoinDesk showed. CoinDesk reached out to KuCoin and MEXC.

Foreign virtual asset business operators that want to operate in South Korea need to report to the FIU in accordance with the Act on Reporting and Use of Specific Financial Transaction Information, the statement said.

한국에서 운영하려는 외국 가상 자산 사업 사업자는 특정 금융 거래 정보의보고 및 사용에 따른 법에 따라 FIU에보고해야한다고 밝혔다.

“Unreported business activities are subject to criminal punishment, and the FIU has been targeting overseas unreported virtual asset business operators conducting domestic business activities without reporting (16 companies in 2022, 6 companies in 2023), while also blocking domestic access through Internet sites and mobile phone apps,” the regulator said.

"보고되지 않은 비즈니스 활동은 형사 처벌의 대상이되며, FIU는 해외에서보고되지 않은 가상 자산 사업 사업자 (2022 년 16 개 회사, 2023 년 6 개 회사)를 대상으로 인터넷 사이트 및 휴대폰 앱을 통한 국내 액세스를 차단했습니다.

South Korea has been moving to block crypto providers that are operating illegally. Last month it requested Google prevent access to 17 apps while reports came out that the regulator planned to block some exchanges' sites.

“In the future, FIU will continue to block domestic access through mobile applications (apps) and Internet sites of overseas unreported virtual asset operators in order to prevent money laundering risks and user damage, in consultation with relevant organizations,” the Financial Intelligence Unit said.
