A survey has shown that memecoins with political themes, such as TRUMP, LIBRA, and CAR, have attracted many first-time crypto investors but also led to substantial losses and disillusionment.

Around 37% of these investors were first-time buyers who were drawn to the memecoins’ political relevance and viral marketing. However, approximately 21% of these investors “quit crypto altogether after their experience with these coins.”

Interestingly, while 26 LIBRA investors lost over $1 million, the data shows that about 36 made over $1 million.
