Peruashev stated that cryptocurrency is an essential part of the global financial structure, and many residents of Kazakhstan see it as an investment opportunity.

According to Peruashev, the imposed ban has had several negative effects.

“Illegal cryptocurrency exchanges, together with tax evasion and criminal funding, have increased due to the cryptocurrency trading ban. The lack of government control marks one of many problems that exist when cryptocurrency transfers occur illegally across national borders,” Peruashev said.
