Dr. Dasgupta will be joining ZIGChain from Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), where he served as the Head of Market Infrastructure, Digital & VC/FinTech.

He also contributed to the development of the UAE’s crypto and financial regulations. Prior to ADGM, Dr. Dasgupta was a member of the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) Asset Management Industry Panel, advising on regulatory frameworks for financial markets.

Dr. Dasgupta has a distinguished career in financial regulation, digital assets, and institutional finance. He has held senior leadership positions at HSBC, Citigroup, and ABN AMRO, leading global financial infrastructure, trade finance, and digital banking initiatives. He has also served as a member of the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), helping shape policies for financial markets.
