SOL Global, one of the first publicly traded companies focused on institutional Solana investments, has closed the acquisition of 12,828 Solana tokens as announced on February 4, 2025. The Company also acquired an additional 9,716 Solana tokens at an average price of US$145 per token for a total acquisition price of US$1,410,624. The purchase brings the Company's total Solana holdings to 40,350 tokens.

The acqusitions follow President Donald J. Trump's strong stance in support of cryptocurrency and his proposal to establish a US Crypto Reserve, which would include Solana, as part of a broader plan to integrate blockchain technology and digital assets into the US financial system.
